Dr. Michael Shackleford HBCU College Fair

The Dr. Michael Shackleford HBCU College Fair is the largest HBCU college fair in Massachusetts. This esteemed event welcomes thousands annually, serving as a pivotal platform for students to explore higher education opportunities and engage with HBCU representatives. Last year's fair was distinguished by the presence of representatives from 13 of the top 20 HBCUs, as rated by the U.S. News & World Report, marking it as a truly remarkable gathering.

Beyond exploring admissions requirements, academic programs, campus life, and transfer requirements, students also have the opportunity to discover scholarship and internship opportunities provided by our strategic and community partners, including UNCF of Boston, New England Sports Network (NESN), A2Z College Consulting, and the Calculus Project. This comprehensive approach to college readiness ensures that students not only access information about higher education options but also gain valuable insights into financial aid and career development opportunities.
